Job Details

To use established codes and Jacobs engineering practices to produce engineering deliverables in the form of mechanical data sheets and enquiry requisitions for rotary equipment like pumps, blowers, compressors, turbines etc; and packaged equipment like boilers, cooling towers, air dryers, water treatment units, nitrogen generation plants, flares, fired heaters, pollution control equipment, HRSG etc.Job responsibility includes technical evaluation of vendor offers, technical discussions with the vendors, preparation of technical recommendations and order specifications, Review of vendor drawings and resolve technical issues as part of detailed engineering
Job also requires extensive co-ordination with other engineering groups, handling of resources, progress reporting and work hour controlling.
Education Qualification
First class graduate/post graduate mechanical / chemical engineers with experience of working in a leading engineering consultancy or in the design office of a reputed process equipment manufacturer are required. Candidates should have in-depth knowledge and experience of working with latest international codes like API and ANSI
Minimum 12 years of experience
Exposure to Shell or BP standards would be an advantage
Candidates with experience in Oil & Gas sector, Refinery and Fertilizers will have an edge
The candidate is expected to carry out design and detailing in the time frame assigned and maintaining the required quality norms
He / she will be required to interact and positively contribute with other disciplines in trouble shooting exercise of solving equipment related issues
Candidate shall possess good health and shall be able to work as team member.
