Meghalaya Police Recruitment 2024 : The Govt of Meghalaya Police Department has announced a recruitment drive for 2968 vacancies in various posts, including Sub Inspector, Constable, and others. The recruitment drive includes vacancies for UB Sub-Inspector (76 posts), Unarmed Branch Constable (720 posts), Fireman (195 posts), Driver Fireman (53 posts), Fireman Mechanic/ Mechanic (26 posts), MPRO Operator (205 posts), Signal/ BN Operator (56 posts), Armed Branch Constable/ Battalion Constable/ MPRO GD/ Constable Handyman (1494 posts), and Driver Constable (143 posts).
Fees : The application fee for all categories of aspirants is ₹150. Eligible individuals can make the payment using various methods, including debit card, credit card, NET banking, or UPI.
Selection : The selection process for the post of Sub Inspector and Constable in the Meghalaya Police Department will be conducted in three stages. The first stage is the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), which evaluates physical fitness and endurance. The second stage is the written exam, and the third stage is the interview.
The provisional place of posting for newly selected candidates will be communicated after the selection process.
